where the path may lead, go instead where there
is no path and leave a trail."

Alaskan Arctic Expeditions specializes in world class dog sledding and skiing expeditions in Alaska's remote and rugged Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). Our highly sought after expeditions are limited to just a few individuals each year and offer a rare glimpse at one of the last untouched wilderness treasures on earth.
Our 22 day expedition will take you deep within the towering and jagged peaks of the Brooks Range and ANWR where caribou, musk oxen, wolves, and Dall sheep call home. The mission of these expeditions is to explore the country, view the wildlife, and experience raw adventure. So, if what you are seeking is an authentic arctic expedition, look no further.
Our expeditions are fueled entirely by our team of purebred Alaskan Malamutes. All gear and supplies are transported by the dog team. We do not rely on aircraft or snowmobile support of any kind, which allows us to follow the land and work with the environment. In other words, as Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
Alaska Arctic Expeditions also offers 12 and 15 day expeditions. Please browse our website for more information.
COMING SOON! We are pleased to announce that our Thermalodge expedition tents will be made available for purchase. Please keep watching our site for more details.
